The Grand Opening of ACCA Computer-Based Exam Center at Hanoi University of Industry
On the afternoon of December 7, Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc - Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Industry and representatives of the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing, the University’s Quality Management Center attended the grand opening of the Computer-Based Exam Center operated by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) at Hanoi University of Industry.

Speaking at the Opening Ceremony, Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc - Vice Rector of the University emphasized: Hanoi University of Industry, a public university under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, has a tradition of 124 years of construction and development. Currently, the University has 46 undergraduate majors, with more than 34,000 students; and there are about 4,000 students majoring in accounting and auditing, trained at undergraduate, master and doctoral levels. Training human resources in the economic sector at Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) has developed at a high level, being trusted and appreciated by learners and society.
Since 2013, Hanoi University of Industry and ACCA have implemented many effective cooperation activities, which offer good opportunities for lecturers and students of the University to study, research and pursue their career dreams. The establishment of the Computer-Based Exam Center at Hanoi University of Industry will better serve the needs of participating in the international certification exam for accounting and auditing, which will be an advantage for students to participate in the global labor market.

Giving speech at the ceremony, Ms. Helen Brand, General Director, ACCA Global said: ACCA is very pleased and confident to set up the Computer-Based Exam Center at Hanoi University of Industry. This event marks a new development step and is the result of efforts from both sides. Hopefully in the future, ACCA and Hanoi University of Industry will continue to promote deeper cooperation.
Ms. Helen Brand, General Director, ACCA Global hoped that in the future ACCA and Hanoi University of Industry will continue to strengthen the cooperation relationship.
The establishment of the Computer-based Exam Center will mark the cooperation journey of the two sides and open up new cooperation opportunities in the future.
