On July 31, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) marked a significant milestone with the announcement of the resolution to establish the School of Economics. This event heralds a new era of development for the institution, characterized by a new name, expanded stature, and a unified entity dedicated to common goals and strategies. The establishment of the School of Economics positions HaUI to continue its proud legacy of contributing to the nation's education and training landscape, seizing new opportunities in the process.

On the afternoon of March 26th, the Youth Union of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) organized a program to commemorate the 93rd anniversary of the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU). During the program, HaUI's Youth Union awarded certificates for "Outstanding Youth Faces," " Student with 5 Good Criteria," conducted HCYU Membership Completion Ceremony and the initiation ceremony for new Youth Union members.

On August 5, 2023, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) held a ceremony to announce the decision to establish the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering. This is the second school to be established under Hanoi University of Industry.

On the morning of January 21, 2022, Hanoi University of Industry held The Announcement of the Resolution to recognize the University Council, Chairman of the University Council for the term 2022 - 2026; the Resolution of the University Council to the first appoint of 2 Vice-Rectors and to establish the School of Languages and Tourism. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doctor Le Hong Quan holds the position of Chairman of the University Council.

HaUI held the announcement ceremony of establishing HaUI Institute of Technology at the meeting room 1 on March 27^th 2015. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Tran Duc Quy –HaUI President, representatives from Faculties and functional units, and HaUI Institute of Technology staffs.

The three events including the 115^th anniversary of establishment of Hanoi University of Industry, Ho Chi Minh Medal award and New academic year 2013-2014 were organized at the multi-purpose hall, HaUI on November 1^st, 2013.
