On the morning of May 21, 2019, a delegation of Hyogo Prefecture Youth Headquarters Foundation (HPYHF), Japan paid a working visit to Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI).

On the afternoon of February 20th, 2019, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to cooperate with O-OKA Corporation, Japan on training and recruiting graduates.

On the morning of September 26^th, Dr. Satoshi Osawa - President of Kanazawa Institute of Technology (KIT) and the delegates from KIT visited Hanoi Industrial University (HaUI). On behalf of HaUI, Dr. Bui Thi Ngan - Vice rector, Dr. Le Viet Anh - Head of International Cooperation Department, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung - Director of International Education Center, and Mr. Vu Ngoc Anh - Deputy Head of Department of Academic Affairs welcomed the distinguished guests.

In the afternoon of 21st October 2016, Japan Die and Mode Association (JADMA) paid a visit to HaUI. Dr. Phạm Văn Bổng – HaUI Vice Rector, JICA experts, department heads of Vietnam –Japan Centre, Centre for Enterprise Partnership and Vocational Skill Assessment, Faculty of Mechanic Engineering and International Cooperation Department warmly welcomed the delegation to HaUI.

To support students with internship opportunities at Japan, Hanoi University of Industry in collaboration with Oshima Shipbuilding Co. Ltd. organized 2016 internship. As one of Japan's leading shipbuilders, Oshima Shipbuilding has subsidized Daizo Tech Co., Ltd in Vietnam specializing in ship designing.

On the 10 September and 11 September 2015, the Working group of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) headed by Dr. Hà Xuân Quang, Vice Rector of HaUI visited exhibitors of the 6^th Vietnam-Japan Exhibition on Supporting Industries in Hanoi” (SIE 2015) at International Center for Exhibition (I.C.E) in Hanoi.

From 10 to 11/9/2015, headed by Dr. Ha Xuan Quang- Vice-Rector of HaUI, HaUI delegation paid a visit to enterprises in the 6th Vietnam-Japan Supporting Industries Exhibition (SIE) in Vietnam- Russia Friendship Culture Palace, Hanoi.
