On January 11 and 12, 2025, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) actively participated in the 2025 Admission Counseling Event held in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An provinces. On January 10, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phạm Văn Đông, Vice Rector and chairman of the Trade Union of Hanoi University of Industry, attended and officiated the inauguration ceremony for a series of restoration projects designed to address the substantial damages caused by Typhoon No. 3 (Yagi). On behalf of Hanoi University of Industry, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phạm Văn Đông participated in the ceremonies held at key educational institutions in Yên Sơn District, Tuyên Quang Province, namely Phúc Ninh Kindergarten, Chiêu Yên Primary School, and Chiêu Yên Secondary School, all of which had suffered considerable damage due to the typhoon.
