On the afternoon of November 5, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) signed a framework cooperation agreement with Yantai Vocational College (China), marking a significant step in advancing international collaboration and enhancing the quality and scope of vocational training at both institutions.

The “HaUI Multiverse 2024” freshman welcome event, inspired by the concept of the “Multiverse”- a multi-dimensional universe, was organized on November 2 by the Youth Union and the Student Association of Hanoi University of Industry. It provided a vibrant and engaging experience for all participants.

On October 29, 2024, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) held the Nitori International Scholarship Award Ceremony, celebrating the achievements of outstanding students from various faculties. The total scholarship value for this year amounted to 260 million VND, benefiting students from majors such as Mechanical Engineering, Automotive, Chemical Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering Technology, Mechatronic Engineering Technology, Business Administration, and Accounting.

With a vibrant celebration filled with colorful activities rich in traditional Korean culture, the Hangeul Festival 2024 was held at Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), drawing the participation of 15 educational institutions specializing in Korean studies and over 2,000 students. On October 18, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) held a meaningful meeting with the University's Women's Union to commemorate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2024). The event was a heartfelt tribute to the history and achievements of the Women's Union, as well as the remarkable contributions of women within the university.

On October 18, the Hanoi Party Committee held a conference to summarize and award the winners of the 4th Political Contest on Protecting the Party's Ideological Foundation. Among the honorees were two students from Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), Trần Thị Tuyết Ngân from the Faculty of Garment Technology and Fashion Design, and Lê Duy Ngô from the School of Automotive Mechanics Engineering. They were awarded the Encouragement Prize for their exceptional work in the contest.

On the afternoon of October 16th, Hanoi University of Industry held a seminar titled "Semiconductor Microchips – Opportunities and Challenges," attracting the participation of numerous experts, lecturers, and students in the fields of electronics and technology. The seminar aimed to discuss the latest trends in the semiconductor industry, explore the opportunities emerging for Vietnam in the context of global technological advancement, and analyze the challenges that the industry faces in order to compete and develop sustainably.

On the morning of October 15, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong, Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), presided over the meeting and signed a cooperation agreement with CADFEM Vietnam.
