On the morning of 7^th September, Hanoi University of Industry held the 2nd National Science Seminar in Accounting & Auditing "Research and Training in Accounting and Auditing". Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Vice Rector of HaUI, chaired the workshop.

After ten competition days in Thailand, HaUI’s students won a Silver medal, a Bronze medal and two Certificates of Excellence at the 12th ASEAN Skills Competition.

On 21^st August, 2018, Assoc. Prof.Dr. Tran Duc Quy - Rector of HaUI took part in a partnership agreement signing ceremony between VinTech Technology Development Joint Stock Company (under Vingroup) and 50 top universities in Vietnam. Also, attending the signing ceremony was Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Van Dong - Head of Department of Science and Technology, and Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc - Head of Department of Academic Affairs.

On 27^th June 2018, the Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony between Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) and ACCA Vietnam was organized at Hanoi Univeristy of Industry.

On the morning of 5/24/2018, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) recieved a delegation of Phoenix Contact GmbH & Co. KG, Germany - one of the biggest electrical equipment manufacturers in Europe.

24 out of 47 HaUI’s students participating in the competition were honored and awarded at the Closing and Award Ceremony of the 30th National Mechanics Olympiad held at National University of Civil Engineering on the morning of May 19^th, 2018.

On the evening of May 20^th, the Closing and Award Ceremony of the 44th World Skills Competition in 2017 and 10th National Skills Competition 2018 was held at the Military Music Theater. Hanoi University of Industry achieved 8 Gold medals, 5 Bronze medals and 2 Consolation prizes.

On the morning of 15^th May, the Competition Council No. 1 at Hanoi University of Industry held the Opening Ceremony of the 10^th National Skills Competition 2018. 91 contestants from 36 delegations participating in 5 skills were present.

On 27^th April 2018, the MOU signing ceremony was held between Hanoi University of Industry and the Laotian Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES).

On the morning of 21^st April, Hanoi University of Industry launched "HaUI Job Fair 2018". This event attracted the participation of 73 enterprises and thousands of students.

The sucess of the conference was confirmed by Vice Rector Bui Thi Ngan and Mr. Asep Hermawan – Manager of International Education Organizer, Training & Consulting (CAAL) - at the closing ceremony of the 5th IBSM 2018 International Conference on Business, Management and Accounting, on the afternoon of 20^th April at Hanoi University of Industry.
