HaUI strives to become a prestigious destination for international students' training and cultural exchange
On February 09, the International Cooperation Center organized a New Year's congratulations meeting for international students on the occasion of the 2023 Lunar New Year. This is an opportunity to summarize the activities of 2022, and to implement the action plan for 2023 for international students who are studying at the university.
Overview of the meeting
This is the first meeting of the year between the university and international students to listen to their thoughts and aspirations on issues related to education and training, scholarships, facilities, experiential activities, cultural exchange, etc…
Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Le Viet Anh, Director of the International Cooperation Center, extended the warmest congratulations to all international students studying at Hanoi University of Industry.
Dr. Le Viet Anh, Director of the International Cooperation Center, expressed deep gratitude for the contributions of the training units. He hopes that these units will continue to support international students as well as the center for the development of education and training.
International students discussed the current situation as well as proposed many opinions in management, teaching, and learning.
Over the years, Hanoi University of Industry has been a reliable destination for many international students from Laos, South Korea, China, Mozambique, Mongolia, Palestine, Poland, etc... Students not only improve their Vietnamese language skills, but also participate in experiential activities, cultural exchanges.
Ms. Ngo Anh Tuyet, the representative of the International Cooperation Center, has announced the plan for the 2023 activities for international students studying at the university.
Recognizing the importance of enhancing the students' spiritual life as one of the accompanying tasks with education, the International Cooperation Center will continue to collaborate with other units to support learning activities and other services. In particular, many cultural, artistic, and sports activities will be organized for international students in the coming time.
Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thi Nguyet Dung, Vice Head of Faculty of Business Management, shared some guidance on course registration as well as support for international students during their studies.
Dr. Pham Van Minh, Head of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, is always willing to coordinate with the International Cooperation Center on supporting job opportunities for international students after graduation.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Tien, the representative of the Student Support Center, addressed issues regarding student life in the dormitory.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Tien stated that the center has provided various services to enhance the living standard and academic support for international students. In the future, the Student Support Center will continue to collaborate with the International Cooperation Center to organize extracurricular activities to help international students have more joy while studying away from their homeland.
