On January 10, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phạm Văn Đông, Vice Rector and chairman of the Trade Union of Hanoi University of Industry, attended and officiated the inauguration ceremony for a series of restoration projects designed to address the substantial damages caused by Typhoon No. 3 (Yagi). On behalf of Hanoi University of Industry, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phạm Văn Đông participated in the ceremonies held at key educational institutions in Yên Sơn District, Tuyên Quang Province, namely Phúc Ninh Kindergarten, Chiêu Yên Primary School, and Chiêu Yên Secondary School, all of which had suffered considerable damage due to the typhoon.

On January 25th, Hanoi University of Industry organized a ceremony to confer appointment decisions and assign duties to 17 managerial officials, announcing the appointment of 03 Associate Professors, and commending groups and individuals with outstanding achievements in the academic years 2021-2022 and 2022-2023.
