Siemens DISW, Steaming Cambodia, and Vietbay company, paid a working visit to Hanoi University of Industry to exchange experiences on building and operating the Smart Factory Research Center.
On the morning of March 30th, 2023, Siemens DISW and Steaming Cambodia School and Vietbay company visited the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) and exchanged experiences on building and operating the Smart Factory Research Center.

On the side of Hanoi University of Industry, there was the presence of Assoc.Prof. Hoang Tien Dung - Dean of the Mechanical Engineering Department; Dr. Trinh Van Long - Director of the Smart Factory Research Center; Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh - Director of Center for Enterprise Partnership.
At the meeting, Ms. Violet Van and Ms. Joyce Eng expressed admiration for HaUI's achievements, especially in investing in the Smart Factory Research Center to serve teaching activities and improving the quality of human resources in the context of industrial revolution 4.0.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, Director of Center for Enterprise Partnership, highly appreciated the significant contributions of Siemens and Vietbay to HaUI in building the Smart Factory Research Center. He also expressed his desire to connect Hanoi University of Industry with domestic and foreign enterprises, especially with typical companies such as Siemens and Vietbay.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Tien Dung- Dean of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering presented the results and experiences in the process of exploiting and operating the smart factory. He stated that the Smart Factory Research Center is a useful tool for teaching and training activities for all Enginering majors, especially the mechanical engineering.
After over 1 year of operating the smart factory research center, HaUI has also upgraded and expanded its curriculum to meet the curent recruitment needs of businesses. Students also have many opportunities to study and practice with modern software and machines, which helps maintain the high quality of graduates in the job market.
Additionally, the university shared many useful insights for the visiting delegation.
