Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) held the Opening Ceremony of the new academic year 2012 - 2013
Being with the cheerful and exciting atmosphere of nationwide Vietnamese students to welcome the new school year, HaUI celebrated an opening ceremony of the new school year 2012 - 2013 in the morning of Octorber 9th 2012. The ceremony took place in the joyfulness and pleasure of more than 3,000 representative students.

The representatives of the police station No. 18, Minh Khai and Tay Tuu People’s Committee, JICA - HaUI Chief Advisor and experts, Director of Korea BSE, the teachers who are teaching Chinese, Korean, Japanese at HaUI, Hanoi College of Technology, military units twinned with HaUI, the leaders of banks, companies and enterprises, organizations, who have been cooperating with HaUI, military music ensemble, and some television journalists, were invited to attend the ceremony.

As for HaUI, Dr. Tran Duc Quy, the meritorious teacher and HaUI Rector; Mr. Ha Xuan Quang, the meritorious teacher, Party Committee Secretary and HaUI Vice Rector; the representatives of the Board of HaUI Rectors, Executive Board of the Party Committee, Standing Trade Union, Standing Youth Union, the head and deputy head of the units; teachers who are teaching or working at HaUI took part in the ceremony.
On behalf of the Board of HaUI Rectors, Dr. Tran Duc Quy warmly welcomed the guests, delegates, HaUI lecturers, staff along with students attended the opening ceremony. He warmly praised the HaUI teachers’ and students’ achievements in recent times. He also wished the lecturers and students to make greater efforts and creativity, promote solidarity and strive to overcome challenges and difficulties to successfully accomplish six major tasks of the school year 2012 - 2013.

In the opening ceremony, the Board of HaUI Rectors gave awards and certificates to the students who attended and won in the national technical skills competition, Olympic Chemistry competition, and those who got the highest mark in the 2012 university entrance exams.

On this occasion, agencies, organizations, enterprises which cooperate with HaUI offered HaUI Nguyen Thanh Binh Study Encouragement Fund 300 million VND.

Mr. Tran Thanh Tung - a Lecturer of Business Management Faculty who got the second prize in the National Best Teachers Contest in 2012 represented all of the HaUI staff and lecturers to give a speech to welcome the new school year, Ms. Tran Phuong Ngoc Anh - a student of Vietnamese Studies Class, Intake 7, Faculty of Technical Teacher’s Training and Tourism represented all the students to express her feelings and gave Mr. Tran Duc Quy, HaUI Rector a bunch of beautiful flowers.

The opening ceremony ended with the happy and exciting atmosphere of HaUI staff, lecturers and students and impressive Flash mob performance of many HaUI students.
