HaUI join force to support flood-stricken Central Vietnam
With a view to aid flood-stricken victims in Central Vietnam, HaUI donated VND 200 million to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
Over the past few days, the whole people in Vietnam have inclined towards the central region, where was heavily affected by floods. Sharing the difficulties and losses of the people in the central region, the teachers and students of HaUI sent a charitable donation, with special feelings towards the central region. On November 27th, representatives of Hanoi University of Industry donated an amount of 200 million VND to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to support the people in Central Vietnam to overcome consequences after the floods. Dr Bui Thi Ngan - Vice-Rector of the University and Assoc. Prof. Dr Pham Van Dong - President of the Trade Union have represented the University gave money to support.
HaUI donated 200 million VND to people in flooded areas via the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front
Along with the activities of the Trade Union, the Youth Union and the Student Union of HaUI also raised fund and sent 65 million VND to the Hanoi Youth Union. Before that, the Trade Union mobilized all officials and employees in the school to aid Central people, in the form of one-day salary donations and direct cash support.
This meaningful action is always unanimously agreed by the school's staff, lecturers and employees to share with the community difficulties.
