On the morning of September 26th, Dr. Satoshi Osawa - President of Kanazawa Institute of Technology (KIT) and the delegates from KIT visited Hanoi Industrial University (HaUI). On behalf of HaUI, Dr. Bui Thi Ngan - Vice rector, Dr. Le Viet Anh - Head of International Cooperation Department, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung - Director of International Education Center, and Mr. Vu Ngoc Anh - Deputy Head of Department of Academic Affairs welcomed the distinguished guests.
At the meeting, the two sides introduced the history, the development of each institution respectively and discussed the comprehensive cooperation between the two sides in depth in improving the quality of research and training, especially sharing and exchanging information on training fields and experiences, and how to apply CDIO (Conceive - Design - Implement – Operate). CDIO, which has been applied successfully in KIT, is a solution to improve the quality of training based on the developed output standards to design training programs and methods. In the future, KIT will help HaUI to implement CDIO approach in training and research.

On behalf of HaUI, Dr. Bui Thi Ngan asserted that: Kanazawa Insitute of Technology is a major partner of HaUI in developing training programs in accordance with the preeminent and scientific standards of CDIO. HaUI and KIT will continue the discussion to come to a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on student exchange, academic exchange and joint training programs. She strongly believed that a significant breakthrough would be made in the cooperation between HaUI and KIT.
