8th Meeting of HaUI - JICA Project Management Board

On September 10th 2015 morning, the 8th meeting of HaUI – JICA Project Mangement Board was chaired by Dr. Tran Duc Quy – Rector of HaUI, project manager, aiming at assessing activities carried out from 6 June 2015 to August 2015 and approve plans for the next period.

The 8th meeting was also participated by the representatives from the Human Resources Development Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade -MOIT), the General Directorate of Vocational Training (Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs), JICA Vietnam Office, Technical Technology College (TTC), and Ho Chi Minh Vocational College of Technology (HVCT).

The purpose of the meeting is to evaluate the outcomes and propose plan, mission of the project in the next stage.

Dr. Ha Xuan Quang - Vice Rector, Vice Project Manager presented report on progress and outcomes of Project activities in period of June – August 2015, including implementation as well as quality of short-term training courses for trainers (TOT courses), technical transfer for counterparts (the colleges and enterprises in society), etc. Afterwards, relevant proposals and plans for the next period were delivered at the meeting.

At the end of the meeting, Dr. Tran Duc Quy recognized and agreed about the outcomes and plan of the project, then with the project members about the tasks, activities to be deployed in the upcoming period.
