Team Super Cub 50 of Faculty of Automobile Technology, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) made the record for the self-made car with fuel consumption level at only 3000 km/l in the energy-efficient eco-driving competition organized by Honda. Super Cub 50 has also officially become the representative of Vietnam participating in the coming eco-driving competition in Japan.

As for the announcement of the organizing board, this car at the average speed of 26 km/h only uses 3260 cc of petrol after eight rounds of 9.265 km. According to computer-generated estimation, this car’s fuel consumption is just at 2.948 km/l in an ideal condition. This result outperformed the other teams in Vietnam.
Mr. Ngo Quang Tao, the instructor of the team said that the team made tremendous effort to develop the best car for this competition besides the support of teachers.
With the achievement, Super Cub 50 of HaUI will have the honor of representing Vietnam to compete in the eco-driving competition in Japan in October 2016.
