The Skilled-mechanical-worker Contest in Hanoi Industrial Parks and Export Processing Zones in 2016
On 20th-21st August, 2016, “The skilled-mechanical-worker Contest in Hanoi Industrial Parks and Export Processing Zones” took place at Hanoi University of Industry.
The contest has 76 contestants from 14 Trade unions, representing 141.000 workers in Hanoi Industrial Parks and Export Processing Zones. Out of them, 27 contestants took a CO2 Welding exam, 12 took CNC Milling, 10 took metalworking lathe, 15 took Milling, 12 took Metal-cutting-on-CNC-machine one.

Being the host of the contest, cooperated with Trade unions in Hanoi Industrial Parks and Export Processing Zones, Hanoi University of Industry ensures the best requirements and regulations of the Contest in terms of facilities, test design, test examining and test marking.

After two devoted working days, the organizing committee chose and awarded the first prize for Denso Vietnam, the second prize for Toho Vietnam, the third prizes for Canon Vietnam and Yamaha Motor Vietnam. The organizing committee also awarded five first prizes, five second prizes, six third prizes and 26 consolation prizes for 42 outstanding individuals.
The contest has created a lively and competitive atmosphere for workers in Hanoi Industrial Parks and Export Processing Zones. Also, the contest has made a great contribution towards raising social awareness of the roles and specialized skills of workers in the application of technical solutions to production, work and life effectively. From the result of the contest, the Trade unions of the Hanoi Industrial Parks and Export Processing Zones will choose outstanding representatives to participate in Hanoi Skilled worker Contest in 2016.
