The internship program in Japan will be recognized as equivalent to an internship course
That is one of the significant highlights at the Signing Ceremony of the cooperation agreement between Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) and Saikaikyo Corporation, Japan, held on the morning of June 27, 2023.
Overview of the Signing Ceremony
In the recent period, within the framework of the cooperation in sending interns to Japan for training and work, Hanoi University of Industry and Saikaikyo Corporation have achieved noteworthy results.
Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc - Rector of Hanoi University of Industry highly appreciates the achievements between HaUI and Saikaikyo Corporation, the signing ceremony will promote deep and extensive cooperation between the two parties, bringing practical benefits to the students participating in the program.
From the moment of signing the cooperation agreement, nearly 2,000 Vietnamese interns will be sent by Labor Supplying and Training Company, HaUI to Saikaikyo Corporation. HaUI’s students will be received for internships and work by various companies under Saikaikyo Corporation.
In which, there are approximately 350 interns participating in a one-year paid internship program at subsidiary companies under the Saikaikyo Corporation, such as Daikyo, Mentec, Karitsu, Yatabe, Zerokyushu, Delta...
Mr. Ikeda - Chairman of Saikaikyo Corporation, acknowledges Hanoi University of Industry as one of the institutions providing high-quality, skilled, and adaptable human resources, well-versed in their fields and capable of adapting to the practical environment in Japan.
The one-year paid internship program in Japan allows students from Hanoi University of Industry to participate after completing the required academic credits for their course, excluding internship credits and thesis defense, and registering for the program through the arrangement of LETCO Company.
Mr. Kamakura - Representative of Hirotec Company - is impressed by the increasing number of students from Hanoi University of Industry working in FDI companies and businesses in Japan in recent years, both in terms of quality and quantity. He expressed his desire to conduct interviews and select HaUI students for internships at the company starting in February 2024.
Participants in the program can submit internship reports under the remote guidance of their instructors to receive recognition for their enterprise internship credits. Additionally, students can defend their final projects/theses online while in Japan. This mechanism allows students from Hanoi University of Industry to receive their graduation certificates immediately after completing the internship program in Japan.
Although the internship duration is only one year, the salary received by students from Saikaikyo Corporation is quite high, ranging from 25 to 30 million VND per month. Some companies also provide additional living allowances for interns, ranging from 12 to 30 million VND.

This program holds significant practical significance for students of Hanoi University of Industry, providing them with opportunities to enhance foreign language skills, gain practical experience, as well as earn high income during the internship.
The signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement marks a milestone in the close collaboration between Hanoi University of Industry and Saikaikyo Corporation, as well as being a meaningful event in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relations (21/9/1973 - 21/9/2023).
