Students unleash their creativity at the 2023 Golf Robot Competition
On December 3rd, at Hanoi University of Industry, the final round of the Mini Robot competition took place, focusing on the theme 'Golf Robot 2023.' This is the first year that the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Hanoi University of Industry has organized an inter-university competition, extending participation to students from universities in the northern region.

The Mini Robot competition is an annual activity organized by the Electrical Engineering Department, aiming to provide a beneficial platform for students in the Engineering field who have a passion for scientific research. The competition's content is closely linked to academic activities, allowing students the opportunity to apply their specialized knowledge to practical situations. It facilitates an environment for students to exchange ideas, learn from each other's experiences, explore new heights in the scientific realm, and serves as an opportunity for students to showcase their passion and creativity in the fields of science and technology; applying and mastering advanced scientific and technological innovations

After more than a month of promotion, the Mini Robot competition with the theme 'Golf Robot 2023' has attracted 20 teams from 6 universities in the Northern region including Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Dong A University of Technology, Industrial University of Economics and Technology, Phenikaa University, Hanoi National University, and Hanoi University of Industry.

The competition took place in an energetic, enthusiastic, and determined atmosphere. This year, the teams' robots were upgraded with new technologies in mechanical design, control programming, and electrical systems. They utilized lasers for distance measurement, enhancing accuracy in shooting, resulting in many absolute victories for Chey-Yo.

After nearly 3 hours of intense and suspenseful competition, the 20 teams successfully navigated through 38 matches. Securing an absolute victory with Chey-Yo in just 40 seconds in the decisive match, the DCN - SMAE team from the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering emerged as the champions of the 2023 Golf Robot Competition.
