On 29/9/2014, representatives from KOICA, Korea Research Institute and Lotte Group in Hanoi had a meeting with HaUI leaders.
Mrs. Bui Thi Ngan – the vice president and representatives from International Cooperation Department; Faculty of Auditing and Accounting; Faculty of Business Management warmly welcomed the Korean delegation. On behalf of HaUI, Mrs.Ngan said that the meeting would create a good opportunity for mutual understanding between HaUI and Korean delegation.
Mrs.Ngan gave a brief introduction about HaUI to help Korean delegation clearly understand about HaUI.
The delegation representatives supposed that HaUI has a great potential to implement the workforce training project for commodity delivery. The two parties exchanged directly and deeply information and concerns, especially on training courses in the two Faculties. KOICA highly appreciated HaUI students’ attitudes, background knowledge and skills.
KOICA representatives said that the project on workforce training in commodity delivery in Vietnam is a non-refundable aid signed by the two Governments. The factual research showed that high-qualified workforce for commodity delivery is of great concerns among enterprises. This sector in Vietnam is developing dramatically. However, the workforce is limited and low-qualified.
The first phase in the project is to evaluate the training unit’s potentials and strengths, to set a plan for material facilities, to exchange and improve teaching staffs. Then, the curricula would be gradually developed and completed to meet Vietnam market demand, along with building a training center with modern facilities such as online study rooms, studios, etc.
The representatives of the two sides expressed desire of effective cooperation in the near future.
