41th Anniversary of Laos’ National Day

On November 30, 2016, Hanoi University of Industry was deeply proud to hold the 41st Anniversary of Laos’ National Day (02/12/1975 - 02/12/2016).

The university was honored with the presence of Ms. Thongmy Duansakda – Minister Counsellor of Culture - Education, Laos’ Embassy in Vietnam, representative of the university management board and Lao students studying at Hanoi University of Industry and other universities and institutes in Hanoi.

On behalf of the university management board, Dr. Bui Thi Ngan – Vice Rector, presented flowers and expressed congratulations to Laos’ Embassy and Lao students studying in Vietnam on the occasion of the aniversity. Before that, many cultural, art and sport activities have been organized to celebrate this day.

During the past 41 years, due to wise leadership of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party together with patriotism and unyielding revolutionary tradition, Lao people have won great victories in developing and protecting the country. Their political and economic security as well as material and spiritual life are constantly being improved. Especially, the traditional relations of friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries - Vietnam and Laos, have constantly had new developments.

Unceasingly fostering the relationship between the two countries, Hanoi University of Industry currently has 300 Lao students studying and living on campus. The school has always devoted special attention to Lao students so that they can participate in both learning and scientific research. The rate of Lao students achieving better academic results and scholarship is increasing. The school leaders always expect Lao students to continue to better themselves and to develop their homeland on their return.
