Director of the Regional English Language Office - The U.S. Embassy in Vietnam paid a working visit to HaUI
On November 18, 2020, Mr. Jerrold J. Frank - Director of Regional English Office (RELO), the U.S. Embassy in Vietnam and Mr. Le Duong, RELO's expert, paid a working visit to Hanoi University of Industry. On behalf of HaUI, Dr. Bui Thi Ngan - Vice Rector of HaUI, Dr. Hoang Ngoc Tue - Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Language and Dr. Tran Thi Duyen - Director of the Testing & Assessment Center, welcomed the distinguished guests.

At the meeting, Dr. Bui Thi Ngan expressed her thanks to RELO for supporting HaUI through cooperative projects. Furthermore, Dr. Bui Thi Ngan expressed her hope that the cooperation would bring about remarkable outcomes, contributing to enhancing the quality of teaching and learning English at the University.

Mr. Jerrold J. Frank also expressed his thanks to the University Management Board and Faculty of Foreign Languages for the warm welcome and kind consideration to him and his colleagues. He highly appreciated the efforts of Hanoi University of Industry to contribute to the success of the cooperation programs between the two sides.
Mr. Jerrold spent time introducing some training programs for staff, lecturers and students that RELO has been implementing in Vietnam such as English Access Microsholarship Program, English Language Fellow Program, English Language Specialist Program, OPEN Global Online Courses, Massive Open Online Courses.
These courses were designed for educational institutions, universities. Mr. Jerrold proposed to cooperate with HaUI in implementing and developing RELO activities to enhance training effectiveness.
On behalf of RELO, Mr. Jerrold presented flowers and congratulated to HaUI staffs and lecturers on the occasion of the Vietnamese Teachers' Day
Dr. Bui Thi Ngan agreed with the proposal of Mr. Jerrold and assigned the Faculty of Foreign Languages to coordinate with RELO in developing specific plans for English language training programs.
