8,500 job opportunities for students of Hanoi University of Industry at the Job Fair 2022

Nearly 100 businesses were present at Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), offering 8,500 job opportunities for seniors and graduates.

On June 4, Hanoi University of Industry held the Job Fair 2022 which attracted over 10,000 students and 93 employers.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc - Vice Rector of the University emphasized: The job fair is organized annually by Hanoi University of Industry to connect students with businesses. This is an opportunity for businesses to identify, select and recruit high-quality human resources as well as an environment for students to have more information and official recruitment opportunities.

The Vice Rector expressed his sincere thanks to the businesses that have always accompanied Hanoi University of Industry throughout the process from designing, developing programs, organizing training to recruiting graduates. Hopefully, HaUI will continue to gain more active and far-reaching support and collaboration from enterprises in the future. Hanoi University of Industry is committed to continuously innovating and improving to enhance the quality of training, meeting the increasing demand for high-quality human resources of enterprises.

On behalf of the 93 enterprises, Mr. Yang Chan Mo - CEO of Hyundai Kefico Vietnam Co., Ltd. thanked the Board of Management of Hanoi University of Industry for organizing such a big and significant Job Fair.

Mr. Yang Chan Mo emphasized: Participating in the Job Fair of Hanoi University of Industry, the company has recruited dozens of high-quality engineers, many of which are holding important managerial positions. The majority of the engineers have received training in the world's premier automotive technology countries such as Germany, Japan, Korea, and Thailand. Mr. Yang Chan Mo hopes that the Company will have more opportunities to cooperate with Hanoi University of Industry in the future.

The Job Fair 2022 is held with the largest scale ever with the participation of 93 domestic and foreign enterprises (increased by 50% compared to 2021 and 250% compared to 2020), including 37 Vietnamese enterprises, 22 Chinese and Taiwanese enterprises, 19 Japanese enterprises, 8 Korean enterprises, 06 American and European enterprises and 01 Indian enterprise. At the Job Fair 2022, businesses offered 8,500 job opportunities, presenting 30% increase over 2021 and 250% increase over 2020. Many businesses have great recruitment needs such as 1,500 vacances from Foxconn Technology Group, 1,100 vacances from Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen, 450 vacances from Neweb Vietnam, 400 vacances from LG Display Vietnam, 300 vacances from HLC Company, etc.

Mr. Vu Tieu Long - Production Director of Secote Vietnam Co., Ltd. said: Currently, there are more than 50 graduates of Hanoi University of Industry working at the company. We highly appreciate the professional quality, soft skills as well as the enthusiasm, hard work and curiosity of HaUI’s students. Attending this year's Job Fair, the Company intends to recruit 60 maintenance and automation engineers.

Ms. Vu Thi Luan - Training Manager of GENTHERM Vietnam Co., Ltd.: Hanoi University of Industry is one of the country's top engineering training institutions. Currently, 30% of Gentherm's engineers and technicians come from Hanoi University of Industry. HaUI’s students have the knowledge and abilities to meet our hiring requirements. Gentherm have established a strategic partnership with Hanoi University of Industry, so we wish to strengthen many cooperation activities in the future.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang - Production Manager of HTMP Vietnam Joint Stock Company (an alumnus of Hanoi University of Industry) said: Attending this year's Job Fair, we plan to recruit 60-80 engineers in the field of design, CAM, CNC machining, turning, milling.

Nguyen Viet Tien – a former student majoring in Automation, Faculty of Electrical Engineering excitedly shared: This is the 3rd time I have attended HaUI’s Job Fair, I have directly learned and captured information about businesses that interest me in order to have the opportunity to develop my career.

Dai Ngoc Mai – a junior majoring in Office Administration, Faculty of Business Administration: After going through the booths, I learned a lot of information about the businesses I'm interested in. Hopefully, I will be able find a job that is aligned with my major after graduation.

Bui Tuan Linh – A student of Mechatronics Class 1, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (middle) shared: The first time coming to Job Fair, my friends and I had plenty of time to find out about companies which suit us. We all feel very happy and excited.
