The delegation of Japanese experts paid a working visit to Hanoi University of Industry
On the afternoon of August 3, 2022, Hanoi University of Industry had a meeting with a delegation of Japanese experts to open up opportunities for cooperation in training in the field of automotive technology.
Overview of the meeting
The delegation of Japanese experts included Mr. Naoto Inagaki - Director of Toprank Japan, Mr. Tsuno Motonori - Former Chief Representative of JICA Vietnam, Mr. Nguyen Dang Minh - Chairman of GMK Vietnam.
On the side of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), there was the presence of Dr. Nguyen Van Thien - Vice Rector; Assoc.Prof.Dr.Nguyen Tien Han - Director of Center for Automobile Technology and Driving Training; Dr. Le Viet Anh - Director of Center for International Cooperation.

At the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Van Thien highly appreciated the support of Japanese agencies and organizations, especially the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), which has brought many important projects to Hanoi University of Industry. HaUI and JICA have established a cooperative relationship since 2000. Since then, 03 projects have been implemented with a total capital of up to tens of millions of US dollars used to develop facilities and train technical human resource at Hanoi University of Industry. It is expected that JICA and HaUI will implement the phase 4 cooperation project in 2023.
Dr. Nguyen Van Thien and representatives of units had discussions with the delegation about the strength of the University in training, scientific research and international cooperation. Dr. Nguyen Van Thien hopes that JICA will be a bridge to help develop the cooperation relationship between Hanoi University of Industry and Japanese businesses in general and Toprank Japan in particular.

The representative of Toprank Japan, Mr. Naoto Inagaki - Director of the company highly appreciated the facilities and applied technology-oriented training model that Hanoi University of Industry is applying. With the strength of Toprank Japan in the field of automobile and mechanical technology, Mr. Naoto Inagaki hopes that the two sides will reach many cooperation agreements on human resource training in the future, especially in the field of automotive repair and maintenance services with the companionship of JICA and GMK Vietnam.
