DCN - DREAM and DCN - DT 01 advance to the 1/8 knockout round in the Finals of Robocon 2023.
DCN - DREAM (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering) and DCN - DT 01 (Faculty of Electronic Engineering) advanced directly to the 1/8 knockout round in the Finals of Robocon 2023."
The four teams from Hanoi University of Industry are: DCN - UBKM (Faculty of Electrical Engineering), DCN - DREAM (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering), DCN - DT 02, DCN - DT 01 (Faculty of Electronic Engineering), all present in the national Finals of Robocon 2023
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Bong - Vice Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong - Head of the Science and Technology Department; and Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Director of Center for Communication and Public Relations, were present at the Opening Ceremony of the Robocon Finals to cheer on the competing teams
32 teams were divided into 8 groups, with each group consisting of 4 teams. They competed in a round-robin format to select the top 2 teams with the highest performance to advance to the 1/8 Knockout round. The champion team will represent the country and participate in the international ABU Robocon 2023 competition, taking place in August 2023 in Cambodia.
The opening ceremony took place at the Nam Dinh Provincial Sports Arena on the evening of May 23, 2023.
After the opening ceremony, the Robocon Vietnam competition became instantly vibrant with the matches of the teams in Groups A and B. DCN - DREAM (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering) had an outstanding opening night, winning 2 out of 3 matches and securing the first ticket to advance to the 1/8 knockout round.
On May 24th: After three consecutive victories, DCN - ĐT 01 secured the top position in Group C, earning a ticket to advance to the 1/8 knockout round.
