At the conference room on A7 Block, the Electrical Discharge Machining and CAD 3D workshops as one part of HaUI-JICA Project phase 3 sponsored by Japanese Government, were officially allowed to come into use on 30th March, 2015.
Representatives of Japanese Embassy in Vietnam handed over the equipment.
The ceremony was attended by Mr.Phuong Hoang Kim – Director of Human Resource Development Department ( Ministry of Industry and Trade), Mr. Le Huu Phuc – Director of International Cooperation Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade), Mr.Cao Van Sam – Deputy General Director of General Department of Vocational Training (Ministry of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs), Mrs.Yoko Tsunoya – First Secretary of Japanese Embassy in Vietnam, Mr.Chikahiro Masuda – Deputy Chief of JICA Viet Nam Office, Mr.Takashi Matsushita – Senior Advisor (JICA Viet Nam Office) and Mr. Yorio Kanemaru – Chief Advisor of HaUI – JICA Project.
Dr. Phuong Hoang Kim gave a speech at the ceremony.
Expressing his sincere thanks to the concern and support of leaders from Ministry of Industry and Trade, JICA Vietnam, and General Department of Vocational Training, Dr. Tran Duc Quy- HaUI President said that with great support of managing agencies, HaUI would start the new training major of molding in the near future to meet the current needs. Therefore, the Wire cut Electrical Discharge Machines (WEDM) would be the main equipment for the trasining activities of HaUI.
Dr. Tran Duc Quy expressed his sincere thanks for the concern and support.
On behalf of Ministry of Industry and Trade, Dr.Phuong Hoang Kim - Director of Human Resource Development Department, and Head of the Project, highly appreciated HaUI’s achievements and especially considered HaUI one of the leading training institutions of the MoIT, contributing to the education and training development to meet social needs.

Mr. Chikahiro Masuda - Deputy Chief of JICA Viet Nam Office also said that HaUI has always made full use of and maintained the equipment in good condition for training and technical transfer since the HaUI – JICA project was implemented 15 years ago. With these handed-over equipment and software, he believed HaUI would continuously take advantage of the technologies, promoting its strengths and becoming one of the leading units in training mold processing in Vietnam.
(WEDM) would be HaUI’s main equipment for the training mold processing in Vietnam.
