On 19th December 2015, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) cooperated with General Directorate of Vocational Training, Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, (GDVT-MOLISA) to hold the opening ceremony of national vocational skills testing- Phase 2 for three occupations: “CNC metal cutting”, “industrial electrical engineering” and “engine lathe”.
Dr. Ha Xuan Quang, Vice-Rector of HaUI, delivered his speech in the ceremony.
Attending the ceremony were Mr.Cao Quang Dai-Head of Department of Vocational Skills (GDVT-MOLISA), Mr. Uchino Tomohiro-JICA expert of GDVT, Dr. Ha Xuan Quang- Vice-Rector of HaUI, Mr.Yorio Kanemaru- Chief consultant of HaUI-JICA project, the Director of Center of Enterprise Partnership and Vocational Skill Assessment, along with lecturers serving as proctors and assessors and a large number of contestants.
Speaking in the ceremony, Mr Cao Quang Daijudged that undertaking Japanese standard-based vocational skills testing in HaUI was investigated and analyzed and qualified by GDVT. This activity is significant and necessary to laborers when they are involved in labor market. It enables them to demonstrate their skills to enterprises. Also, it is a chance for enterprises to explore, utilize and analyze their staffs.
This assessment took place from 19th to 20th December 2015. The competitors participated in theory and machine-based performance tests. In particular, contestants in CNC metal cutting test took paper-based performance test. Supervisors and evaluators were richly experienced HaUI lecturers and experts from accredited enterprises.
