Celebrating Vietnam Women’s Day 2021
On October 20th, Hanoi University of Industry hosted a meeting with representatives from female officials and lecturers to celebrate the 91st anniversary of the Vietnam Women’s Union. The event succeeded in a warm meeting.
Speaking at the event, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Hong Quan - Chairman of the Board of Trustees sent the kindliest wishes to the female officials, lecturers and students. He laid stress on the fact that the academic year of 2020 – 2021 is a special one while the whole education sector takes a serious effect from the Covid-19 pandemic; despite the difficulties, the university had managed to overcome obstacles, took advantage of the situation to innovate and create, accomplished the academic year’s tasks.

The female officials, lecturers and students make a valuable contribution to that success. Many sisters had brilliantly fulfilled the task: most of them received the title of Grassroots-level Emulation Fighter or suggested to receive Certificate of satisfactory progress, the title of Ministry-level Emulation Fighter, Certificate of satisfactory progress from the Prime Minister. Some even successfully defended their Ph.D. thesis or scientific research at a multi-level and had many high-value international publications. Many female students achieved excellent results in the study, scientific research and extracurricular activities. Moreover, the graduation valedictorian is a schoolgirl with outstanding academic results.
The Chairman also confirmed that University Board always paid attention, shared and facilitated the most favorable conditions, not only for the female officials but also for the worker and students of the whole university to study, strive, and contribute to develop career and to shine at the workplace, at the university as well as at the family.
On behalf of female officials, workers and students of the university, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong Nga - Head of Women’s Affairs Committee delivered a speech to give a deeply thank to the University Board and express the enthusiasm of the female officials, lecturers and students in continuing the tradition of 123 years of building and developing of Hanoi University of Industry, contributing to making a united university and determining to fulfill all given task for the general development of the university.
