HaUI students pay tribute to their teachers on the occasion of Vietnamese Teacher’s Day 20/11
The last days of November are crisp and we are in the loveliest season of Hanoi, the season of unspeakable nostalgia, the season for students to express gratitude to their respected teachers. This year's Vietnamese Teacher’s Day took place in a more special way than usual when students met their teachers online. This has never happened before!
The yard of Hanoi University of Industry is still empty these days because students still can't go to school. But with a sincere heart and creativity, students of different Faculties of the University have organized many online activities in the form of photo contests, video contests and gratitude card design contests as a special gift to their teachers on this special occasion.
The contest "The online ferryman" of the Faculty of Foreign Languages
Responding to the contest "The online ferryman" of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, students have submitted many beautiful pictures, self-composed poems and thank you messages as wishes to their teachers.

Touching entries which are full of emotions and sincere gratitude were sent by students to their teachers:
"...During days of online learning, I felt my teacher’s concern for us. She has always been worried that students would not be able to clearly understand the lesson because of online learning. Therefore, she always asks about our learning process, then reminds and encourages us to regularly review our notes so that we don't miss a lesson. She also stays up late to prepare lessons and create games combined with lessons as she’s afraid that online learning will quickly make students bored. Thanks to her, our online lessons become more interesting and useful, helping us get closer to Chinese. I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to become one of her students, to have her companionship throughout my college years. On this special occasion, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to her. Thank you for your tenderness and tolerance for the times when we were still lazy to study.
Thank you for your lessons which are always full of excitement and meaningful stories.
Thank you - the silent and dedicated "ferryman" to guide us on the path to success.
I really hope the pandemic ends soon so that we can meet each other in person!"

In addition, in the series of activities to celebrate Vietnam Teachers' Day on November 20, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering launched the contest "Designing gratitude cards", for students in the faculty. Up to now, more than 100 entries that are uniquely designed and creative cards have been sent to the Organizers.
Duong Danh Phu's card - student in Mechanical Engineering 7 class, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering - is of a highly technical character but still contains a lot of love for teachers
Student Diem Dang Duong shared his heart on the card he designed for the contest: If we were asked "Where does success come from?", we would say “It comes from our teachers who bring us the knowledge so that we can confidently step into life…”

The entry "A moment of Gratitude" of students from the Faculty of Electronics
The entry named "A moment of Gratitude" by Ngo Tuan Dat & Vu Thi May - students of the Faculty of Electronics were sent to participate in the Faculty's contest, with sincere sharing: “My teacher is like a ferryman who carries us to the shores of the future. He is our second father who teaches us to be good humans and gives us baggage and wings so that one day we can confidently walk our own way. Year after year, he always welcomes new generations of students and watches them grow up.
The Vietnamese Teachers’ Day 20/11 is always a special occasion to thank and honor wonderful teachers who inspire dreams and never give up on the journey of nurturing our growth under any circumstances.
On the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20, I would like to send my best wishes to all the lecturers and staff at Hanoi University of Industry in general and the Faculty of Electronics in particular. Wishing teachers always be healthy as well as happy with their families and always inspire dreams for generations to come…”
Time flies, and in a few days, we will welcome the festival of the education industry - the Vietnamese Teacher’s Day. Hope the pandemic ends soon so that teachers can return to school where there are classrooms, stone benches, rows of trees and laughter of students.
We would like to express our utmost gratitude to all generations of teachers and staff of Hanoi University of Industry. Wishing you good health, happiness and success in your career path in education!
