On November 30, a delegation from Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) paid a working visit to Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) to exchange experiences and promote extensive cooperation in management, training, scientific research, and innovative fields. It is aimed to enhance the quality of education, elevate the two universities' brands nationally and internationally.

At the working session, Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc, Rector of Hanoi University of Industry, introduced the 125-year history of construction and development, as well as the significant achievements that HaUI has attained. He emphasized that the establishment of affiliated schools and subsidiary enterprises under the university to create a comprehensive process in training activities, closely linking education with the societal demand and serving as a bridge to support students in seeking employment opportunities and practical professional experience.Up to now, HaUI has established two affiliated schools, namely School of Foreign Languages and Tourism (established in December 2021) and School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (established in August 2023). By 2025, Hanoi University of Industry aims to have 3-5 affiliated schools that are suitable for the requirements of management, training, and new governance models.In the current context, Hanoi University of Industry identifies its development based on three main pillars: Education - Science and Technology - Community Service.

This would contribute to strengthening the cooperative relationship between the two universities that has been nurtured by generations of leaders.

On this occasion, Hanoi University of Industry and Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City signed a cooperation agreement. Under this agreement, the two universities agreed to collaborate in the areas of education and training (building and developing programs that meet international accreditation standards such as ABET, FIBAA; training and developing faculty in teaching methods and assessment methods; mutual recognition and accreditation of training processes, content, and credit values to promote student exchange; establishing high-tech laboratory systems for training and research; organizing international student exchange activities; academic exchange, resource and postgraduate training collaboration; sharing and developing shared teaching materials; organizing practical training for students in tourism and hotel management at the Thanh Hoa campus; implementing student exchanges, internships, and work abroad programs through Letco - HaUI) and in the field of science and technology, international cooperation (collaborative research, scientific publications; organizing conferences and scientific workshops; supporting and coordinating in developing intellectual property and technology transfer networks; sharing resources between the two universities in terms of international expert and professor involvement in teaching and scientific research; comparing and evaluating peer rankings of facilities and university education programs; coordinating mechanisms for partnership in QS rankings).
