HaUI Trade Union held a conference to review work in 2023
On December 4th, 2024, the Trade Union of Hanoi University of Industry convened a significant conference to evaluate the accomplishments of the Trade Union in 2023 and outline the strategies for the upcoming year. The conference brought together key stakeholders, including members of the Executive Committee of the University’s Trade Union and the President of the Divisional Trade Union, to reflect on the achievements and challenges faced throughout the previous year.
Overview of the conference
In 2023, the Trade Union placed a strong emphasis on enhancing employee welfare and benefits. The Trade Union actively facilitated professional development opportunities for the university's staff. This included organizing workshops, seminars, and training sessions aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of employees. The goal was to create an environment that fosters continuous learning and growth.

Recognizing the importance of a healthy workforce, the Trade Union implemented initiatives to promote employee health and well-being. This involved organizing health check-ups, fitness programs, and mental health awareness campaigns. The Trade Union played a pivotal role in fostering a supportive atmosphere for staff members.
Building on the success of 2023, the Trade Union aims to expand professional development opportunities in 2024: Promoting education, ideology and politics among trade union members; Implementing directives, resolutions of the Party, State policies and laws, guiding documents of the Party Committees and Trade Union; Promoting communications of trade union activities; Regularly grasp the thoughts and aspirations, taking care of the material and spiritual life of trade union members. This includes organizing more workshops, seminars, and training sessions to keep the staff abreast of the latest developments in their respective fields.
With the results achieved in the 2022 - 2023 academic year, the University's Trade Union was awarded the Emulation Flag of the Vietnam Industry and Trade Union; 3 members were awarded Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; 22 members were awarded Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam Industry and Trade Union; 2 members were awarded thematic Certificate of Merit from the Vietnam Industry and Trade Union.
