HaUI celebrates the 93rd anniversary of the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union

On the afternoon of March 26th, the Youth Union of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) organized a program to commemorate the 93rd anniversary of the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU). During the program, HaUI's Youth Union awarded certificates for "Outstanding Youth Faces," " Student with 5 Good Criteria," conducted HCYU Membership Completion Ceremony and the initiation ceremony for new Youth Union members.

In recent years, HaUI’s youth movements have achieved notable accomplishments. Particularly, HaUI's Youth Union was honored with the Third-class Labor Medal by the State President, along with numerous commendations and emulation flags from HCYU Central Committee and HCYU of Hanoi City.

Associate Professor Le Hong Quan - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council, commends the effective organization of various proactive and voluntary activities by the university's youth. He believes that with the strength of youth, their enthusiasm, and unity, the university's youth union will successfully accomplish several key tasks:

Firstly, continuing to innovate the content and methods of operation of Youth Union in a specific, practical, and targeted manner suitable for each group; actively understanding the ideological trends of union members and youth to timely report and address legitimate and reasonable aspirations.

Secondly, building a politically strong youth class with knowledge, ideals, aspirations, and a willingness to strive for progress in life, actively participating in new and challenging social activities. Simultaneously, strengthening and improving the organization, building a pool of close-knit and competent cadres in preparation for the upcoming term of the university's Youth Union delegates from 2024 to 2027.

Thirdly, regularly creating mechanisms for youth members to directly undertake youth-related tasks and projects; seizing social resources to support youth members in starting businesses, establishing careers, and improving the lives of youth members.

At the event, four outstanding youths were admitted to the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, eight comrades were recognized as mature youth union members, thirty-six comrades were honored as outstanding youth faces at the university level, and one hundred and eighty excellent students were listed for Party Committee nurturing and admission.
