Guangxi Economic and Trade Vocational Institute paid a working visit to Hanoi University of Industry
On the morning of September 10th, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) had a working session with Guangxi Economic and Trade Vocational Institute (China).
At the working session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong, Vice Rector of HaUI, emphasized that HaUI's development strategy prioritizes internationalization of education and the modernization of its governance model. This includes establishing affiliated schools, research institutes, and affiliated enterprises. To date, HaUI has established three affiliated schools: the School of Foreign Languages and Tourism, the School of Mechanical Engineering and Automotive, and the School of Economics. By early 2025, HaUI plans to establish the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and the School of Information Technology.
Overview of the Meeting
In alignment with its strategy for internationalizing education and effectively developing international joint training programs, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) has established collaborative partnerships with numerous educational institutions, organizations, and prestigious research institutes from countries with leading education systems worldwide. Among these, China stands out as a significant partner. HaUI has achieved notable successes in implementing the 2+2 and 3+1 joint training programs with Guangxi University of Science and Technology (China), Guilin University of Technology (China), and others.

Guangxi Economic and Trade Vocational Institute, established in 1951 and located in Nanning, Guangxi, China, is a public vocational education institution with over 400 faculty members. The college operates three campuses, serving more than 12,500 full-time students across 45 programs, including Marketing, International E-commerce, Fashion Design, Nutrition, and Culinary Arts.
Mr. Trinh Ba, Vice Rector of Guangxi Economic and Trade Vocational Institute, expressed gratitude for the warm reception from Hanoi University of Industry and expressed hope for future projects and collaborative programs in various fields.
