Hanoi University of Industry expands international training cooperation with Nanning University, China
The international training cooperation between Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), Vietnam, and Nanning University, China, enables students and lecturers from both institutions to access global education opportunities, engage in academic exchanges, scientific research, and enhance employment prospects, thereby elevating the quality of human resources in both countries.
Overview of the working session
During the working session on May 8th, representatives from both universities highlighted the significant similarities and alignment in the training models and directions of both institutions. Both universities offer multidisciplinary training focusing on applied technology fields such as information technology, electrical engineering, electronics engineering, automotive technology, and mechanical engineering. Particularly, Hanoi and Nanning enjoy convenient geographical positions for connectivity, exchange, and collaboration.
Assoc. Prof. Pham Van Dong, Vice Rector, shared at the working session: "Currently, HaUI is actively promoting the internationalization of education in the university's development strategy through international training partnerships. Hanoi University of Industry has collaborated with numerous educational institutions, organizations, and prestigious research institutes from leading educational countries worldwide, including China. HaUI has achieved significant results in implementing 2+2, 3+1 training programs with Guangxi University of Science and Technology (China) and Guilin University of Technology (China). Especially, HaUI has collaborated with numerous Chinese enterprises in training, technology transfer, equipment sponsorship, and scholarships for students with an annual budget of up to 30-50 billion VND."

Assoc. Prof. Pham Van Dong added: "The positive results in the cooperative relationship between HaUI and various Chinese higher education institutions and enterprises in recent times lay the groundwork for fostering extensive cooperation between Hanoi University of Industry and Nanning University, China, in multiple fields. Both parties will review training programs to develop joint training programs between the two universities, ensuring compliance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam and international standards; Implement various preferential policies, support learners, attract Chinese students to study at Hanoi University of Industry; Enhance existing relationships while establishing new relationships with Chinese enterprises to address employment issues after graduation for learners.

Mr. Gong Ji, Vice Rector of Nanning University, China, stated: "Nanning University is committed to training and providing high-quality human resources, contributing to the economic and social development of Guangxi Province, China. With over 98% of majors in the technology and engineering field, Mr. Gong Ji believes this is the foundation for cooperation in training, scientific research, aiming at mutual development goals, and providing high-quality human resources to ASEAN countries.
Both parties hope to become sustainable partners and develop relationships to new height
With the set goals, representatives from Hanoi University of Industry, Vietnam, and Nanning University, China, will collaborate to develop a long-term plan for international training cooperation and aim to sign a cooperation agreement in the near future.
