HaUI Students Dazzle at Graduation Fashion Show
On the morning of June 15, the Faculty of Garment Technology and Fashion Design, HaUI hosted its highly anticipated 2024 Graduation Fashion Show, captivating an audience of lecturers, students, and fashion enthusiasts alike.
The event showcased the talents of 30 student designers, each presenting their graduation projects. These budding fashion designers brought forth a vibrant array of garments, each piece reflecting a unique blend of creativity, innovation, and meticulous craftsmanship. The runway was alive with a kaleidoscope of colors, diverse designs, and artistic expressions that left a lasting impression on everyone present.
The collection was nothing short of a visual feast. Each designer drew from an endless well of inspiration, translating their personal stories and artistic visions into tangible forms of wearable art. The themes ranged from nature-inspired motifs to futuristic designs, from traditional cultural elements to avant-garde aesthetics. This rich tapestry of concepts ensured that there was something for everyone to appreciate.
Drawing inspiration from Turkish aesthetics, the "Devil's Eye" collection stood out with its eye-shaped embossed designs and striking color combinations.
Youthful and vibrant, the "Divergent" collection introduced the image of Pi Xiu, a mythical Vietnamese creature, into modern fashion. The designs featured jade colors such as rose quartz, amethyst, and marble, creating a fresh and dynamic look.
Inspired by the spirit of Bushido and the heroic qualities of ancient Samurai, the "Bushido" collection left a powerful impression. The designs were characterized by strong colors, intricate patterns, and carefully selected accessories that reflected the bravery and honor of the Samurai.
The show also featured designs deeply rooted in Vietnamese culture, with costumes that vividly depicted the ancient, winding streets of Hanoi. These pieces, imbued with the soul of Vietnam, highlighted the rich heritage and timeless beauty of the country.
The collections presented at the show were not limited to one type of attire. They spanned various fashion categories, including office wear, streetwear, and sportswear.
The 2024 Graduation Fashion Show at HaUI was more than just a display of garments; it was a celebration of talent, hard work, and the boundless potential of the next generation of fashion designers. Each piece told a story, invited reflection, and demonstrated the incredible capabilities of these young creatives.
