Enhancing Coordination and Exchange of Digital Transformation Experiences between HaUI and Thuy Loi University
On June 17, a delegation from Thuy Loi University (TLU), led by Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trung Viet, Vice Rector of TLU, visited Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) to discuss and exchange experiences on digital transformation. This visit marked a significant step towards fostering collaboration between the two institutions in the rapidly evolving landscape of higher education.
Overview of the meeting
During the session, Dr. Nguyen Van Thien, Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Industry, highlighted the crucial role of digital transformation in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. He noted that digital transformation represents a breakthrough solution for managing higher education institutions. "Currently, Hanoi University of Industry has implemented digital transformation in most fields, especially in teaching, learning, and training management, bringing many positive values to the school," Dr. Thien stated. Since 2011, HaUI has developed and applied an electronic university model in comprehensive management, covering 34 fields with over 600 management activities. This system has garnered numerous awards, recognizing its effectiveness and innovation.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trung Viet shared insights from Thuy Loi University's perspective, expressing admiration for HaUI's achievements in digital transformation. He emphasized TLU's commitment to comprehensive digital transformation. "The experiences shared by Hanoi University of Industry are invaluable for us as we pursue our own digital transformation goals," he remarked. Prof. Dr. Viet also highlighted the importance of building a long-term, sustainable cooperative relationship between the two universities. He expressed particular interest in collaborating on science and technology activities, areas where TLU has considerable expertise.
