HaUI - Goertek: Cooperation in Training International Technical Human Resources
In a significant stride towards the internationalization of education, Dr. Nguyen Van Thien - Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), recently signed a landmark cooperation agreement with Goertek Group and Shandong Jiaotong Academy during a working trip to China from July 24 to July 31. This partnership marks a pivotal moment in enhancing human resource training and aligning with the demands of the international labor market.

The cooperation agreement introduces an innovative training model known as 3.5 + 0.3 + 0.2. This model is designed to provide a comprehensive and immersive educational experience for HaUI students. Under this model:
Students will spend 3.5 years studying at Hanoi University of Industry, building a strong foundation in their respective technical fields.
Following this, students will spend 0.3 years at Shandong Jiaotong Academy in China, gaining international exposure and enhancing their academic and cultural understanding.
The final 0.2 years will be spent at the Goertek Training Center in China. Here, students will receive specialized training and hands-on experience, preparing them for professional roles upon their return to Vietnam.

The partnership goes beyond academic collaboration to offer substantial support to students:
Final Year Tuition Sponsorship: Students will receive financial support for their final year of study, easing the burden of tuition fees.
Chinese Language Training: Students will benefit from 0.5 years of free Chinese language training at Hanoi University of Industry, equipping them with essential language skills for their time in China.
Free Training and Accommodation: During their time in China, students will receive free training, accommodation, living, and travel expenses, ensuring a smooth and enriching experience abroad.
Graduation Internship Credits: The program integrates graduation internship credits, recognizing the practical experience gained during the training.
Online Graduation Project: The culmination of their studies will involve an online graduation project, allowing students to complete their academic requirements seamlessly.
This collaboration between HaUI, Goertek Group, and Shandong Jiaotong Academy is poised to create a robust pipeline of highly skilled technical professionals. By combining rigorous academic training with practical, international experience, the program aims to produce graduates who are well-equipped to meet the challenges of the global labor market.
