Hanoi University of Industry welcomes nearly 8,000 freshmen of cohort 19
On the mornings of September 10 and 11, Hanoi University of Industry welcomed over 1,000 new undergraduate students in the fields of language studies, chemical technology, garment technology, and fashion design at Hanoi campus; more than 6,000 ones in the areas of Economics, Tourism, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, and Automotive Engineering at Ha Nam campus.

In his speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong conveyed several meaningful messages to the new students, encouraging them as they embark on their university journey. He emphasized that success comes from choosing the right path, focusing on study and research to gain knowledge, which is the key to unlocking the door to success.

During the event, Hanoi University of Industry also received sponsorship from LPBank and Vietinbank for the Nguyen Thanh Binh Scholarship Fund. HaUI is committed to supporting students in difficult circumstances, orphans, and those with disabilities, providing motivation to help them excel academically and achieve their dreams.

Giang’s grandfather, who is 80 years old, accompanied her from Thai Binh to Hanoi for the enrollment procedures. He expressed his joy and pride in seeing his granddaughter mature and gain admission to university, and he expressed his confidence in her choice to study at Hanoi University of Industry. He advised, "If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you. If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you."
Pham Duc Thinh, a freshman of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, expressed his excitement at reuniting with teachers who had previously ignited his passion for STEM fields, motivating him to pursue his dream of building robots. Thinh eagerly anticipates studying at School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering and participating in HaUI's Robocon club.
Tran Vu Thai Cong and Nguyen Van Hien, new students from Nam Dinh, proudly joined the Chemical Technology faculty at Hanoi University of Industry. Both students are determined to work hard during their studies to contribute to society and support their families more in the future.
Le Thi Huong Tra, a freshman in Linguistics, impressed with her beauty and charm, as well as her outstanding score of 26.75 in the 2024 National High School Graduation Exam. The young girl from Ha Tinh hopes to gain enriching experiences and spread her love for the Vietnamese language to an international friends.
Bui Thu Phuong, Tran Thi Tuyet Vi, and Dinh Hoang Trang, new students in the Faculty of Garment – Textile Technology and Fashion Design, believe that the HaUI will be an ideal place for students to indulge their creative passions and nurture their dreams of becoming fashion designers.
