Official survey to assess 06 Master's Degree Programs at Hanoi University of Industry
On the morning of June 24, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) held the closing ceremony of the official survey to assess the quality of six master's degree programs.
From June 20 to 24, an external evaluation team from ththe Center for Education Accreditation - Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-CEA), in collaboration with Hanoi University of Industry, conducted an official survey to evaluate six master's programs in: Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, Mechatronics Engineering, Textile and Garment Technology, and English Language.
Overview of the event
Quality accreditation activities are always emphasized by the university, aiming to implement key solutions to innovate and enhance the quality of education programs and the educational institution as a whole. Comprehensive and objective evaluations cover various aspects of the training programs, from curriculum development, faculty, and facilities to the employability of graduates. Based on these evaluations, the university continues to improve and perfect its programs and quality-enhancement activities, better meeting labor market demands and affirming its reputation and position in society.
An external evaluation team from the Center for Education Accreditation - Vietnam National University, Hanoi, participated in the official survey to assess the quality of six master's degree programs at Hanoi University of Industry.
During the five official working days, the external evaluation team conducted surveys, reviewed evidence files and related documents, interviewed and discussed with various internal and external stakeholders, worked directly with specialized staff at functional units and faculties with evaluated programs, surveyed stakeholder opinions, and inspected facilities serving the programs such as libraries, resource rooms, laboratories, classrooms, and auditoriums.
Professor, Doctor of Science Banh Tien Long, former Deputy Minister of Education and Training and Head of the External Evaluation Team, and Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong, the team secretary, presented the preliminary results of the official survey.
Based on the official survey results, the evaluation team highly appreciated the quality of the six master's programs, highlighting strengths such as: a coherent curriculum structure, diverse teaching activities combining theory and practice, in-person and online interactions, weekly exchanges, practical training reports, and graduation projects linked to real-world issues. The team also made valuable recommendations aligned with the university's development direction, helping HaUI find suitable solutions to improve the quality of master's training to meet increasing societal demands.

Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc emphasized that evaluating training program quality is a core task in HaUI's goal to innovate and develop. This assessment of six master's programs is crucial; with serious, objective, and comprehensive evaluations, it will help the university better develop high-level training programs, affirming its prestige and position in training elite human resources. The evaluation results allow HaUI to reflect on achieved outcomes, leverage strengths, and implement innovative solutions to meet the demands of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the internationalization of education.

Dr. Ta Thi Thu Hien appreciated the objective spirit of the external evaluation team and the collaboration and efforts of HaUI in self-evaluation and preparation for the official assessment of six master's programs.
At the conclusion of the closing session, representatives from HaUI and the Center for Education Quality Accreditation - Vietnam National University, Hanoi, signed a memorandum completing the official external survey of six master's degree programs.
